Eurofins Food and Feed Testing Australia has grown from a series of trusted local laboratory start-ups and acquisitions into a regional connected network of scientific expertise and innovation, with laboratories strategically located throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia. United by a shared commitment to quality, our teams work collaboratively across the country to support safer, healthier communities through advanced analytical and testing services.

Our Australian journey began in 2018 with the establishment of Eurofins Food Testing Australia Pty Ltd in Melbourne. Operating from a purpose-built 8,000 m² facility, the laboratory delivers a comprehensive range of analytical services for the food, beverage, dairy, and feed industries, including microbiology, nutritional chemistry, vitamin analysis, and contaminant testing. 

In 2022, Eurofins Food and Feed Testing Australia expanded its capabilities in Sydney through the development of its Girraween laboratory, a 1,500 m² PC2-certified facility supporting microbiology and molecular biology testing for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and water applications. The site operates with both NATA and TGA accreditations, reinforcing the commitment of the Eurofins network to scientific excellence and regulatory compliance across Australia.

Today, Eurofins Food and Feed Testing Australia operates as part of an integrated Eurofins network across the Asia–Pacific region, supported by specialised competency hubs in Melbourne, Auckland, Singapore, and Suzhou. This connected network allows us to deliver consistent scientific excellence, rapid turnaround times, and access to world‑leading expertise, ensuring our customers benefit from the full strength of the Eurofins global laboratory network.
