Eurofins Food and Feed Testing New Zealand laboratories provide analytical testing for meat processing through to finished products for ovine, bovine, caprine, cervine, ratites, and poultry.
Our capability includes an extensive scope of water testing to meet HCS, NZDWS, Overseas Market Access Requirements (OMAR) and MPI requirements.

Eurofins Food and Feed Testing New Zealand laboratories are accredited for cloth swab sampling for E. coli Top 7 STEC testing. This testing methodology offers the same high standard of compliance testing as traditional methods for the National Microbiological Database (NMD), but with superior sample recovery across larger carcass areas. It is also the preferred technique for the US FSIS.

Water potability
For compliance with Human Consumption Specification and to test for routine faecal coliform, pH, turbidity and chlorine monitoring (as specified by HC and EU Omar requirements).
Process water
For compliance with MPI requirements for domestic and export processing plants to carry out regulated testing of process water in order to meet market access requirements. This covers boiler and cooling tower water.
Boiler water
To test for pH, total dissolved solids, sulphite, alkalinity species and phosphate.
