Our dedicated cannabis testing department is continuously improving test methods and strives to offer the most comprehensive list of cannabis testing services.
Accurate chemical and compositional analysis is essential to ensure the safety, consistency and quality of cannabis products. Regulatory authorities require comprehensive testing to confirm potency, detect contaminants and verify product integrity across the cannabis supply chain.
Key services:
By performing analytical testing aligned with major global monographs such as USP, Ph. Eur. (EP), and DAB, we provide the precise documentation and pharmaceutical-grade quality oversight necessary to satisfy complex destination-country requirements and facilitate seamless cross-border trade.
Microorganisms are bacteria and yeasts and molds that are “microscopic” and not typically visible to naked eye. Cannabis plants and products are not sterile, and some microbial contamination is expected however there are limits that prevent adverse human health effects. Microbial testing is a requirement under the cannabis regulations for all fresh, dried and oil-based cannabis products
Cannabis products with accurate expiration dates are essential for providing consumer assurance that the product is high quality, contains the potency or cannabinoid/terpene profile as per the label claim, and is safe to consume.
Environmental Monitoring allows you to examine the effectiveness of environmental controls and sanitation procedures in areas of production and to investigate any contamination incidents. In GPP environments, it is conducted to demonstrate that the production environment is under control. This is of particular importance in the production of medical cannabis because some microbes have a negative effect on plant development, storage of dried products, and consumer safety.
Eurofins Experchem’s Laboratories testing portfolio is extremely diversified and extensive. Our industry-leading experts have 30+ years of experience in testing compendial methods. This diversified list insures that all of our clients get the most accurate information about their cannabis products.
