PFAS testing

Per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS), which include PFOS (perfluorooctanesulfonic acid) and PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid), are persistent organic pollutants (POPs) that can accumulate in water, soil, animals, and the human body. Due to their health and environmental impact, these contaminants have been a focus of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) for several years. Your Competence Centre for PFAS

Eurofins Food & Feed Testing Sweden AB, the PFAS Competence Centre of the international Eurofins Network located in Lidköping, Sweden, offers a wide range of accredited chemical and bacteriological tests in the food and agricultural sector. Matrices include water, food, biota, solid environmental matrices (e.g. soil, sediment, sludge, waste), and fire foam, etc. Accreditation is available for a number of methods and specifically the matrices of water (clean/unclean), soil and fish/shellfish. A number of foodstuffs and new matrices are constantly being validated.
