Eurofins, a world leader in testing, inspection and certification services, is pleased to announce that it has gained accreditation to certify the Textile Exchange (GRS, RCS, CCS and OCS) and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) schemes in Spain.

The accreditation gained by Eurofins means that it can now certify manufacturers and suppliers of textile products that meet the high standards set by Textile Exchange and GOTS. Both schemes are recognised worldwide as leaders in promoting sustainability and responsible production in the textile supply chain.

Textile Exchange certification focuses on the responsible production of textile materials and the promotion of recycled and organic contents in the textile industry. For its part, GOTS sets standards for the production of organic textiles and ensures that all textile products certified under this program are produced in a sustainable and responsible manner.

Eurofins' being accredited by IOAS (International Organic Accreditation Service, an international non-profit organization dedicated to the evaluation and accreditation of organisations working in the certification of organic and sustainable products worldwide) to certify these schemes is a recognition of the company's excellence and expertise in testing, inspection and certification. In addition, this accreditation reaffirms Eurofins' commitment to promoting sustainable practices in the textile supply chain and helping companies meet the highest standards of social and environmental responsibility.

Eurofins is proud to be accredited to certify the Textile Exchange and GOTS programs and looks forward to continuing to work with companies and organisations around the globe to promote sustainability and social responsibility in the textile industry.
