[Webinar] Cyber Security and the Radio Equipment Directive - The new requirements and how to meet them

Your industry, our focus

The European Commission has adopted a Delegated Act to the Radio Equipment Directive to ensure all wireless devices sold in the EU meet certain Cyber Security requirements.

Join the teams from Eurofins E&E and Eurofins Cyber Security at 2pm GMT / 3pm CET on the 6th July 2022 for our latest webinar. We will explore these new requirements, discuss how manufacturers can demonstrate compliance, and explain how Eurofins can help you meet these challenges.

The deadline for complying with the new requirements is mid-2024, giving manufacturers only two years from now to make sure their products are safe and products in the scope of the Delegated Act include:

  • Wireless devices such as mobile phones, tablets and other products capable of communicating over the internet
  • Toys and childcare equipment such as baby monitors
  • Wearable equipment such as smartwatches or fitness trackers

Eurofins was the first Notified Body for the Radio Equipment Directive, and we can now help get your products certified against the new Cyber Security requirements.

In this webinar, we will cover:

  • The purpose and scope of the Radio Equipment Directive
  • What are the new Cyber Security requirements?
  • How can manufacturers demonstrate their products comply with the Directive?
  • Certification by Eurofins against the relevant international standards

At the end of the webinar, we will have time for questions and an open discussion around any of the topics covered.
