Microbiology test

If you want to be sure that your disinfector is working properly, ask us for a DisinfectorCheck. For this analysis, we take a water sample before and after the disinfector. The sample then goes to our microbiology lab, chilled and in sterile bottles. In the lab we determine the aerobic plate count (the number of bacteria and fungi) and the total number of fungi. We check that your disinfector is working properly by comparing the results of the two samples side-by-side.

ISO 17025

The Eurofins Agro DisinfectorCheck is accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council to ISO 17025. This proves that we perform the analysis to extremely high standards of reliability in accordance with the guidelines. The analysis is a snapshot, so if you want to be sure that your disinfector is working properly, we recommend having the analysis performed at least four times a year. DisinfectorCheck is suitable for all types of disinfectors (heat, UV radiation or oxidation with ozone or hydrogen peroxide).

Method

Eurofins Agro analyses samples according to prescribed and established methods. The analysis report briefly describes the method. Here you can also see which method has been accredited by the Accreditation Council. We then put a Q after the method.
