Eurofins can provide you with a permit to send soil containing plant material authorized by the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). With this permit you can meet the EU phytosanitary import requirements (import license for the introduction of harmful organisms, plants, plant products and other objects for trial of other scientific purposes and for work on varietal selections (issued under Directive (EU) 2019/2072).

Here you can find instructions on how to use the permit. You need this permit once you have taken the samples and want to ship these samples to Eurofins in the Netherlands.

The costs of the permit are € 95,00 as of January 1st 2026.
