SoilCheck provides insight into the nutrients that are immediately available to the crop. A quick assessment enables targeted supplementary fertilisation to be carried out where necessary.
SoilCheck is a rapid soil analysis performed on field-moist soil that provides insight into the nutrients immediately available in the soil. The test measures the nutrients dissolved in the soil moisture, which are therefore directly accessible to the crop. You will receive a clear report containing two recommendations: one for the next four weeks and one for the remainder of the growing season.
BodemCheck has been developed for growers who want to make targeted adjustments during the growing season.
It shows exactly which macro- and micronutrients are currently available to the crop.
It enables fast and targeted supplementary fertilisation, helping to improve both yield and crop quality.
The recommendation takes nutrient supply from the soil into account and is tailored to more than 200 crops.
It helps prevent both nutrient deficiencies and over-fertilisation, allowing you to work more efficiently and reduce costs.
The analysis can be combined with previous soil data (e.g. from the BemestingsWijzer) to provide even more accurate recommendations.
Applying BodemCheck is simple and fast:
You take, or arrange for, a representative soil sample to be collected from the field.
The sample is analysed for immediately available nutrients, including NO₃, NH₄, P, K, Ca, Mg, Na, and trace elements such as Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu, and B.
pH and EC are also measured to assess soil acidity and salinity levels.
You receive a report containing both a 4‑week recommendation and a seasonal recommendation, including specific supplementary fertilisation advice.
SoilCheck is particularly valuable when you need a quick and reliable insight into the current availability of nutrients in the soil during the growing season. The analysis helps determine whether the crop has access to sufficient nutrients to maintain healthy and vigorous growth. It is especially useful when there are concerns about nutrient uptake, for example following periods of excessive rainfall or prolonged drought, providing a sound basis for targeted corrective action.
The test is also highly beneficial when crops show signs of poor performance. Discolouration, stunted growth or unexplained variations within a field may indicate nutrient deficiencies or soil-related constraints. SoilCheck helps identify these underlying causes quickly and accurately. For growers using precision fertilisation, the analysis is an important management tool, enabling them to determine exactly what supplementary fertilisation is required while avoiding both nutrient shortages and over-application.
SoilCheck can even be used before a crop has been established. In this situation, the analysis forms part of the Supplementary Fertilisation Monitor, providing insight into the current nutrient status of the soil before sowing or planting. This allows growers to determine the most appropriate starter fertiliser application and optimise crop establishment from the outset.
SoilCheck is a field-moist soil analysis that provides rapid insight into the availability of the key macro- and micronutrients in the soil. These are the nutrients dissolved in the soil moisture and therefore immediately accessible to the crop.
