Water analysis for irrigation and horticulture

Eurofins Agro analyses the quality of irrigation water used in professional horticulture and agriculture. You can send in drain (slab) water, drip water, and well water for a complete assessment.

Our laboratory report includes essential parameters such as pH, EC, cations, anions, micro‑nutrients, and iron (Fe). If needed, we can also provide a historical overview to help monitor trends over time.

Regular water testing supports optimal crop growth, prevents imbalances, and helps you react quickly to changes in water quality.

How te send your water samples

A permit is not required for sending water samples. Water samples can be shipped directly to our laboratory following the standard sampling and shipping instructions.

Eurofins Agro can examine the quality of irrigation water before and during cultivation. We offer analysis of drain (slab), drip and well water, DNA-Multiscan and PlantDoctor. 

After analysis you will receive a report that includes the pH, EC, cations, anions, micro-nutrients and Fe. If desired, you can also receive a historical overview.

Please take the following into account when sending in a water sample:

• Contact your nearest Eurofins laboratory

• Take the sample in the right way.

• Provide all necessary information.

• Use the smallest package-size available.

• Always include an order form and air way bill.

Note: We recommend you to send your samples with DHL or UPS. Our experience with Fedex is that water samples, from outside the EU, are returned to the sender without notice or further information.
