The Eurofins Environment Testing network in the Netherlands offers various possibilities to detect contaminants through sediment analysis. Below you will find an overview of the most common analyses performed in sediment investigations.
AS3000 is an accreditation scheme and part of the KWALIBO regulation scheme. KWALIBO stands for quality assurance in soil management. KWALIBO requires that laboratory analyses are accredited for the relevant parameters of the sediment protocols (3110–3180). In addition, laboratories must hold a certification from the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment (I&M) to perform analyses in accordance with AS3000.
