eDNA Testing
At Eurofins Environment, we use the eDNA method to quickly and reliably detect bats as well as other animal species. By analysing DNA traces left in the environment, we can determine which species are present without disturbing them.
Since March 2025, the Dutch national government has officially recognised the eDNA method for detecting bats in cavity walls. This allows you to confirm the presence of protected species before insulation work begins.
