Brussels, Belgium – 01/02/2021: Eurofins, a global leader in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry, announces today the launch of an updated version of its non-GMO Identity Preservation programme: Eurofins IP TRUST.

This programme provides a set of requirements to be implemented and challenged through advanced analytical expertise in combination with assessment and auditing capabilities. Compliance to the programme ensures the non-GMO identity of products and enables GM and non-GM supply chains to coexist. The programme also ensures compliance with relevant regulation in the most stringent markets around the world. The Eurofins IP TRUST programme is designed for all stakeholders of supply chains, from farm to fork, either for a single site or a complete integrated supply chain.
The Eurofins IP TRUST programme is applicable to the food, feed and pet food production industries. Technical requirements including sampling and testing strategies, are based on the unparalleled expertise of Eurofins Genescan, the Eurofins global Competence Centre for GMOs. The service protocol requires a robust assessment and auditing approach, based on the outstanding experience of Eurofins Food Assurance as an auditing and certification body.
Eurofins IP TRUST will increase buyers’ confidence in non-GM productions, and will enable supply chains to co-exist efficiently. Customers, all over the world, will benefit from Eurofins’ one-stop-shop approach towards their non-GMO control programmes thanks to the Group’s global network of auditors and best-in-class laboratories.
