Footwear inspection quality control

Sidebar Image

Footwear is a unique product in that its construction, materials and composition are very different from garments and other fashion items. In the complex production process of footwear, a small deviance in one process could impact the quality of the final goods significantly. Before the footwear leaves the factory and arrives at the retail stores or online shops, the goods should be properly inspected for quality control so that buyers and consumers will not be disappointed.

At Eurofins CPA, we have teams of well-trained field inspectors with robust footwear and inspection knowledge to run footwear inspection quality checks (QC) for your footwear products, whether they are high heels, sandals, sport shoes/sneakers, men’s shoes, boots, or children's shoes. Send us your footwear inspection enquiry anytime for discussion!

We work according to AQL sampling rules and can customise footwear inspection protocols to your specific needs, as the general procedure can be adapted to best suit your needs.

Eurofins is now accredited by ISO/IEC 17020:2012 for consumer products inspection services by ANAB!

  5. Overall quality

In addition to the inspection process mentioned above, to comprehensively assess the quality of the shoes, we also inspect several other elements. These include:

  • Are the shoes clean?
  • Are there any bad smells?
  • Are the logos printed clearly, without smudges?
  • Could any part of the shoes cause pain to the feet when worn?
