Our history

Established in 2019, Eurofins Healthcare Assurance is part of the international Assurance business line which combines more than 25 years of experience in the testing, inspection and certification (TIC) industry. Eurofins Healthcare Assurance offers customers the best support to identify and mitigate risks along their supply chain – in terms of operations, processes, systems or people.

Clients in the Pharma, Medical Devices, Food Supplements and Cosmetics industries can benefit from a full-scope of services from auditing, certification, training and advisory to help eliminate potential risks in compliance, quality and safety failures at the early stages of the supply chain, protecting brand image and minimising the risk of product recalls and other undesirable scenarios.

Eurofins Healthcare Assurance has completed the acquisition of Sisthema, a reputable Quality Assurance and GxP audit player in February 2022.

Sisthema was established in 1999, and since 2011 performs audits for the qualification of suppliers of APIs, raw materials, excipients, packaging materials, medicinal products, medical devices, cosmetics and food supplements, and also for providers of pharmacovigilance, analyses, and distribution/storage services.

Both companies have joined forces and will operate under the Eurofins Healthcare Assurance brand with the same high level and quality of service.
