Eurofins provides a comprehensive set of tests for your 802.11 Wireless LAN (WLAN) products. Acting as independent test lab, Eurofins offers services for manufacturers and distributors of WLAN network equipment in order to achieve positive testing results, certifications and approvals of your WLAN modules and products.

Key tests according to the following requirements:

FCC 15.247 (Radio, EMC) 802.11a/h, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11i
IC RSS-210 (Radio, EMC) 802.11a/h, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11i
EN 300 328 (Radio) 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11i
EN 301 893 (Radio) 802.11a/h, 802.11n
EN 301 489 (EMC) 802.11a/h, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11i

802.11a in the 5 GHz U-NII band and using the OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) carrier technique, supports data rates ranging to 54 Mbps. DFS (Dynamic Frequency Selection) and TPC (Transmit Power Control);
DFS is believed to be a key in reducing potential interference in 5 GHz WLAN devices
802.11b at 2.4 GHz, utilizing the DSSS (DirectSequence Spread Spectrum) carrier technique, up to 11 Mbps data rates
802.11g at 2.4 GHz, utilizing OFDM, data rates up to 54 Mbps
802.11h operating in the 5 GHz band, providing dynamic channel selection (DCS) and transmit power control (TPC), (the called spectrum managed 802.11a)
802.11i MAC (Medium Access Control) Enhancements for Enhanced Security
