CPSC eFiling Goes Live: Your Compliance Checklist

Assembling safety and quality in all toys and hardgoods

This webinar will take place on Thursday, 11 June 2026.

Session 1: 8 AM GMT | 1:30 PM IST | 4 PM CST (China)
Session 2: 11 AM PDT | 2 PM EDT | 6 PM GMT

The CPSC has made it clear that being “almost ready” is not enough. eFiling readiness requires aligned data, validated test reports, internal ownership, and coordination with brokers; steps that take time to implement correctly. Companies that prepare early are far more likely to experience faster clearance and fewer inspections under the new system.

Starting 8 July 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) will require mandatory electronic filing (eFiling) of Children’s Product Certificates (CPC) and General Certificates of Conformity (GCC) for most regulated consumer products imported into the United States.

This is a fundamental operational shift: certificates must now be submitted electronically through U.S. Customs (ACE) at the time of entry, not kept on file “in case of request.” Companies that are not fully ready risk cargo delays, increased inspections, and disrupted supply chains.

This webinar is designed as a practical compliance checklist, helping you confirm whether your organisation is truly ready before the regulation goes live.

What you will learn

During this webinar, Eurofins experts will provide practical, actionable guidance on:

  • The CPSC’s mandatory eFiling requirements and exactly what changes in July 2026.
  • Which products require CPC vs. GCC and when eFiling is mandatory.
  • The 7 required data elements that must be submitted electronically for each certified product.
  • How eFiling works in practice using CBP’s ACE system and the CPSC Product Registry.
  • Your step-by-step eFiling readiness checklist, including data ownership, testing documentation, and broker coordination.
  • Common mistakes that lead to shipment holds and how to avoid them.
