Social compliance audits

The objective of a social audit is to prove that your suppliers are compliant with local labour law and other social compliance requirements in accordance to international industry programmes or clients’ own programmes.

Eurofins auditing teams are, among other, member of the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA), and approved to conduct audits for Amfori BSCI, Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA), Initiative for Compliance and Sustainability (ICS) and Social and Labor Convergence (SLCP), on top of which we offer the Eurofins Market Standard Audit, an in-house programme specifically focused on the consumer product industries, such as toys and hardlines.

Chemical Management audits

In order to meet local environmental law and requirements, and rising concerns on pollutions management from manufacturing, we have designed Chemical Management Audit that looks into the proper use, storage and management of chemicals. Staff awareness and knowledge, as well as the management procedure, approach and emergency response will be assessed to ensure safety at this critical production stage.

Technical audits

Technical audits are a great tool to understand the capacity and capability of a new toy supplier before placing a production order. Production conditions and performance are well assessed with the evaluation of more than 50 criteria, providing objective measurements and indicators about the audited factory against the customer’s expectations and toy manufacturing regulations.

Security audits

Our Eurofins Market Standard Audit - Security is developed on the requirement per U.S. CTPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) requirements to ensure security compliance set out by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. We are also approved by the Supplier Compliance Audit Network (SCAN) to deliver their security audits.
