Eurofins expands furniture testing capabilities in Indonesia

Eurofins Modern Testing Services CPT Indonesia is delighted to announce that it has been accepted by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to perform testing for Clothing Storage Units (CSU) stability per 16 CFR 1261.

In doing so, we become the first laboratory in Indonesia approved by the CPSC for this test, building on the Eurofins Toys and Hardlines network’s existing CPSC testing approval in Vietnam and the United States. This allows us to offer robust and unparalleled service to our furniture industry customers.

As of 1 September 2023, all CSU manufactured or imported for use in the United States are subject to the requirements of this part.
