Whitford & Smith advance to new leadership roles in Portage and Columbia

Nathan Whitford has been promoted to President of Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Columbia, Inc. His new responsibilities include leading the laboratory in accordance with the vision, values, and strategic goals of the company while overseeing and facilitating efficient operations, sound business practices, excellent client service and a motivated staff. Previously, Nathan was Site Director at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, Inc., Portage, MI, for the past nine years. Prior to that, he served in a leadership role at the Lancaster, PA, laboratory testing facility in the Method Development and Validation group for 10 years. Nathan brings extensive experience to lead the Columbia, MO, site as he oversaw tremendous growth in laboratory expansions and new service offerings at the Portage facility. Having experience at two Eurofins locations for nearly 20 years, Nathan brings best practices to the Columbia site to drive new testing capabilities and continue to support strategic growth that will provide for client service excellence within the network of Eurofins BPT labs in the US.

Angela Smith has been promoted to Site Director of the Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, Inc., Portage, MI, facility. Her new responsibilities include leading laboratory testing operations and the management team in order to facilitate efficient operations and systems while maintaining quality and compliance to meet client and regulatory requirements. Previously, Angela was Director, Stability Services, at the Lancaster, PA, site and with the company for 17 years. During her tenure, she has served in a variety of leadership roles in Raw Materials, Small Molecule Product Testing and Stability and has had an active role in several building and team expansions. Angela will leverage past experiences to provide strategic and tactical support to the management team to expand the raw materials service offering in Portage with overall growth and expansion of the site while continuing to stellar service clients have come to expect.
