New Harmonized Standard of EN 16516 for Emissions of Dangerous Substances from Construction Products
On 4th October, the European Committee for Standardization CEN published EN 16516:2017 standard for emissions from construction products (“Assessment of release of dangerous substances - Determination of emissions into indoor air”).
This new version of European Standard indicates reference method for the determination of emissions into indoor air from construction products of volatile organic compounds, semi-volatile organic compounds and very volatile aldehydes based on the use of a test chamber.
