New European VOC emissions testing standard - now approved

CEN TC351 finalized its vote and the new European VOC emissions testing standard was approved. After some editorial refinements it will be published as CEN/TS 16516.

The validation of that standard allows that the next step, transformation into a full EN norm, could be started and conclude in publication of the EN standard in 2015. But the CEN/TS 16516 will be fully valid and can be reference right after its publication by CEN .

Date of publication is not known exactly, but this should happen during summer 2013.

The study of robustness validation of that testing standard - meaning how a change of any testing parameter (such as temperature) will impact the test result now is available at different place in the Web than communicated earlier. The new place is:
