Eurofins Modern Testing Services Noida Expands Testing Capabilities for Children's Furniture

Eurofins | Modern Testing Services Noida (Eurofins | MTS Noida) is pleased to announce the expansion of its ISO 17025:2017-accredited testing capabilities to include a comprehensive range of children's furniture, including bunk beds, full-size baby cribs, cribs, cradles, and bassinets. This latest addition builds on the laboratory's existing expertise in textile, leather, toy, and furniture testing, further strengthening its ability to support brands, retailers, and manufacturers across Northern India and beyond.

The new capabilities enable Eurofins | MTS Noida to perform end-to-end compliance testing against key North American safety regulations and standards, addressing the growing demand from Indian manufacturers supplying to the US and Canadian markets. The newly developed scope has been approved by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

The expanded scope includes:

• Bunk beds: Structural integrity, guardrail requirements, mattress fit, static load, and dimensional compliance testing to ASTM F1427
• Full-size baby cribs: Slat construction, corner post requirements, rail height, and dimensional compliance testing to ASTM F1169 / 16 CFR 1219
• Cribs, cradles and bassinets: Entrapment, mesh strength, structural integrity, flammability, and entanglement testing to SOR/2016-152 (Canada Consumer Product Safety Act)

These new capabilities complement the extensive global furniture testing offering available across the Eurofins Softlines & Hardlines network of laboratories, ensuring that clients benefit from both local convenience and worldwide expertise.
