Annulment of energy labelling Regulation for vacuum cleaners
On 7th January 2019, the European Commission published the Judgment of the General Court of 8 November 2018 (Case T-544/13 RENV) where the Court annuls Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 665/2013 with regard to energy labelling of vacuum cleaners.
New drafts for energy labelling
On 11th March 2019, the European Commission published several drafts related to energy labelling.

Decree of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 2 of 2018 concerning Mandatory implementation of the Indonesian National Standard in the electricity sector. The Decree requires that industrial businesses which produce, import and trade in Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB); Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB); Switches; Plugs and socket outlets; Lamp control gear; Luminaries; and Fan Product must apply SNI requirements and shall have Products Certificates issued by conformity assessment bodies accredited by KAN (National Accreditation Body of Indonesia) or designated by Directorate General of Electricity, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. The products which are traded in the domestic market both originated domestically and imported shall put the SNI marking on the products after the products get certified. |

New York State has introduced Bill A05147, which provides that on each seasonal and decorative lighting product manufactured, sold or delivered by a manufacturer or distributed in this state that contains an electrical cord casing made with polyvinyl chloride in which lead is used as a fire-retardant and stabilizer there shall be a warning label. |
