China
New SRRC’s requirements for radio equipment
On 15th October 2018, the changes of requirements for radio equipment subject to type approval entered into force. This notice was published on 30th September by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China (MIIT). The main changes in the testing requirements and procedures are:
- SRRC testing fees have been removed
- SRRC certification and testing shall be done at an approved test local laboratory
