PPE testing ISO 17025 accredited capabilities
With a wide range of certification of PPE products including protective clothing, safety shoes and protective gloves against different risks, Eurofins Textile Testing Spain has enlarged its testing capacity including new accredited tests, which mainly relate to protective clothing and gloves.
Eurofins Textile Testing Spain has obtained Accreditation for testing individual protective equipment, issued by the Spanish Accreditation Body (ENAC), according to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard. This expansion recognises its technical competence for testing according with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 for personal protective equipment.
The new accredited capabilities strongly enhance the service portfolio of the Spanish laboratory and attest the technical competence of our laboratory for the performance of the following:

Additionally, by mid 2023, Eurofins Textile Testing Spain is working to enlarge its certification scope as Notified Body, thereby contributing to widening the already broad testing and certification scope for PPE products and strengthening the positioning of Eurofins in the global market to be the one-stop solution provider for its clients supplying PPEs worldwide.
This expansion, together with other services already offered within Eurofins network of laboratories, completes the Eurofins' service portfolio for PPE products.
Our Solutions
Eurofins Textile & Footwear Testing Spain is accredited as a Notified Body No. 2865 under Regulation (EU) 2016/425 to issue CE type-certification of hand and arm protection equipment (protective gloves), general body protection equipment (protective clothing) and equipment providing non-slip protection for feet and legs (safety shoes) Category II and III.
Eurofins E&E CML Limited is accredited as a UK Approved Body No. 2503 for three major types of PPE (protective clothing, safety shoes and protective gloves) under Personal Protective Equipment Regulations (Regulation (EU) 2016/425 as brought into UK law and amended) and the Personal Protective Equipment (Enforcement) Regulations 2018.
Eurofins Product Testing Italy is accredited as European Notified Body n° 0477 for certification of “Equipment providing hearing protection” and “Equipment providing respiratory system protection” in accordance with Reg. (EU) 2016/425 PPE, Annex V, VII and VIII.
