Our Eurofins Market Standard Audit - Security is developed on the requirement per U.S. CTPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) requirements to ensure security compliance set out by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Buyers and suppliers can leverage our audit to assure security along their supply chains, ensuring importing compliance for the U.S. retail market.

We are approved by the Supplier Compliance Audit Network (SCAN) to deliver their security audits. The Supplier Compliance Audit Network (SCAN) has been developed to drive an aligned and cost-effective security approach as well as to provide a single information sharing platform for factories, suppliers and facilities required to perform multiple security audits every year. In 2019, over 600 security audits were completed via SCAN in 63 countries.

Eurofins’ audit quality and integrity are recognized by the SCAN, as one of the association’s seven approved service providers.

Our certification activities are provided by independent Certification Bodies, separately from any consulting activities. Impartiality is safeguarded by Eurofins Assurance’s relevant policies to avoid conflicts of interest.
