All McDonald’s suppliers must undergo an audit in compliance with McDonald’s Supplier Quality Management System (SQMS) standards. McDonald’s will notify their suppliers directly when an audit is needed.
The McDonald’s SQMS program is designed for companies supplying food products to the McDonald’s fast-food chain.
While SQMS audits can be conducted independently, they are typically performed as an add-on (Addendum) to a GFSI Food Manufacturing Standard audit.
