This course will provide participants with the knowledge to understand the signs of intentional contamination, conduct a vulnerability assessment, and develop mitigation strategies.
About the Course
The goal of the FDA's final Adulteration (IA) rule (21 CFR 121) is to prevent intentional adulteration, intended to cause wide-scale harm to public health, to include acts of terrorism targeting the food supply. These acts could cause illness, death, and economic disruption of the food supply. To reduce or prevent risk to the food supply, this rule requires mitigation (risk-reducing) strategies for processes in certain registered food facilities.
Learning Objectives
Who should attend?
