Eurofins Modulo Uno carries out periodic inspections on all types of racking and mezzanines installed in workplaces
Even when correctly installed, racking systems can pose a risk in day-to-day work activities for a variety of reasons (accidental impacts, seismic shocks, ground settlement).
Checks on storage equipment must be carried out regularly (weekly) to verify safety conditions and, in particular, to identify any damage. These activities are monitored and supervised by the PRSES officer, the person responsible for the safety of storage equipment, appointed and trained by management.
Inspections, at intervals of no more than 12 months, must be carried out by a technically competent surveyor, who performs the assessment and provides the PRSES officer with a report including observations and recommendations for any interventions deemed necessary.
