The Supplement Safety and Compliance Initiative standard was developed by benchmarking and harmonising various international and industry standards, including 21 CFR Part 111. Eurofins Assurance is an approved Certification Body for SSCI certification.
SSCI certification background
The SSCI standard focuses on improving traceability and identification of dietary supplements to ensure safety, integrity and cGMP compliance for dietary supplements being sold in the U.S.
Currently, SSCI certificates are accepted by major retailers to show cGMP compliance for dietary supplements being sold at their online and store channels.
SSCI certification process
The SSCI programme covers the entire supply chain. Companies in these capacities can book their SSCI audit with us:

The onsite audit takes three days to complete. Upon completion, customers will receive their audit reports and SSCI certificate in 40 working days. The certificate is valid for one year.
