Sumit is a versatile sustainability leader with over 17 years of progressive experience in the fields of auditing, chemical compliance, benchmarking, training, and standards development.
In his current role at Eurofins Assurance, Sumit oversees and manages sustainability programme development that covers Global Organic Textile Standard, Textile Exchange and Better Cotton. Prior to this role, Sumit held positions in technical compliance, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement at IOAS, GOTS, and other third-party certification bodies.
Sumit earned a Gold Medal in his Bachelor of Tech. and holds a Distinction in his Master of Tech. from leading institutions in India.
