Eurofins Food Assurance is pleased to announce that it has received additional recognition from GLOBALG.A.P. and LEAF Marque, two world-renowned programme for agriculture and food industries, establishing the robust expertise the teams possess worldwide.
GLOBALG.A.P. is a set of internationally-recognised agricultural standards aiming to establish good agricultural practices worldwide, ensuring safe, sustainable production and responsible resource management. To provide more comprehensive certification to its members, GLOBALG.A.P. has developed Sustainable Program for Irrigation and Groundwater Use (SPRING) Module that addresses specifically water management at farm in responsible manner. Eurofins Assurance has previously been approved as GLOBALG.A.P. approved Certification Body for IFA Plant editions, and we obtain now additional approval to be Certification Body for the SPRING Module.
LEAF Marque promotes sustainable farming through LEAF’s Integrated Farm Management (IFM) principles, targeting to create prosperous farming that enriches the environment, engages communities, and improves nature, biodiversity, and climate resilience. Active in 19 countries, LEAF Marque are adopted by key food brands and buyers in the world. As an approved Certification Body now for LEAF Marque, Eurofins Assurance is geared to support the sustainable farming practice of LEAF members.
