Batteryspray is a company which develops and produces innovative products for the removal of asbestos-containing applications in the maritime sector. In cooperation with Batteryspray, Eurofins Maritime Services offers an innovative method of asbestos removal that has been demonstrated to be 100% safe and extremely cost-effective.
Legal framework
The Dutch SCI-547 committee has approved the Batteryspray method. Further, the committee decided to admit Batteryspray to Dutch asbestos legislation, effective 14 July 2018.
The Batteryspray method
The Batteryspray method requires specific training and specialised equipment and is carried out by at least two certified persons.

Optimise the removal process with an on-board mobile laboratory
The asbestos removal can be carried out in conjunction with an on-board mobile laboratory from Eurofins Omegam, which allows us to detect potential ACM on-board and remove it directly with the use of Batteryspray.
