Methamphetamine use and production in clandestine labs has been on the rise in the past decade. Residue from the aerosols in both use and manufacture have been known to collect on surfaces of built environments, which can create a route of transfer to people exposed to the area leading to detrimental health effects. In this presentation, we discuss the importance of testing for methamphetamine residuals and the legal requirements for decontamination of sites, as well as how to navigate our testing services offered through our accredited testing laboratory.
