Eurofins Environment Testing’s new and improved online data portal, providing clients the data and document management solutions from one, easy-to-use internet-based platform. myEOL is linked directly to Eurofins Environment Testing’s TALS Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), ensuring a direct connection between the systems, and preventing the potential for costly transcription errors. Available to all customers of Eurofins Environment Testing's TALS laboratories at no additional cost, myEOL offers clients the following time and cost saving benefits:

• Immediate access to the most current data and documents for real-time decision making.
• Rapid access to historical data for sample point comparisons.
• Customize data presentations for a personalized view of job-based data, with the ability to save those preferences for future use.
• Adjust the non-detect reporting convention applied to results, and export that newly created format.

Report formats

Easy-to-read, fully searchable and color coded

Eurofins has a portfolio of report formats to meet the needs of all of your testing programs. Our easy-to-read, fully searchable, color coded reports provide the data you need to quickly make informed decisions.

Choosing the right report format ensures that you receive data that is compliant with regulatory programs. It can also significantly reduce your review time and data management costs.

To ensure you receive the information you need, our reports formats vary, including additional quality control information in each progressively larger and more detailed report. Spanning from a level 1 to a level 4, our reports fall into one of the following categories:

• Level 1 - reports include a brief narrative, results and chain of custody documents only
• Level 2 - reports include all of the elements of a level 1 report, plus basic batch QC results
• Level 3 - reports include all of the elements of a level 2 report, plus forms from the instrument for organics and metals analyses
• Level 4 - reports include all of the elements of a level 3 report, and also include all instrument raw data and chromatograms

In addition to our standard report formats, Eurofins has also developed reports in conjunction with several federal and state regulatory agencies to ensure the appropriate reporting of data for each program. 

Reports are available in PDF format, via e-mail, CD or through our online data portal, myEOL. Offering 24/7 online access to data, regulatory limits, deliverables and data trending, myEOL is a complimentary, value-added service that allows you to manage all aspects of your laboratory experience from your web browser.

Electronic data deliverables 

The flexibility to sort, analyze and upload results

Eurofins offers data in many formats, including electronic tables, or electronic data deliverables (EDDs). EDDs offer the same data that is reported in a traditional pdf report, combined with the convenience and flexibility to sort, analyze and upload results into a database. In addition to the time saving benefits that EDDs offer, the potential for costly transcription errors in drastically reduced when utilizing these deliverables to upload data into a database or tracking tool.

Eurofins provides EDDs to numerous government and commercial clients. We have developed several standard EDD formats to match the needs of local clients, government agencies and third-party validation service providers. In addition to our standard formats, Eurofins also creates EDD formats that are customized to meet our clients' individual requirements, some of which are very complex. Eurofins employs a technical staff that is dedicated to EDD development and client consultation, ensuring that electronic data provided to our clients are accurate and formatted to meet your exacting requirements.

EDDs are available in various ASCII, Access, DBF and Excel spreadsheet file formats, and are typically sent via e-mail, or through our online data portal, myEOL. Offering 24/7 online access to data, regulatory limits, deliverables and data trending, myEOL is a complimentary, value-added service that allows you to manage all aspects of your laboratory experience from your web browser.

NIST SP 800-171 compliance

Following guidance from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Eurofins has implemented procedures to protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) generated by our analytical facilities. The guidance, Special Publication (SP) 800-171, outlines recommended security requirements to be implemented by nonfederal contractors to protect the confidentiality of CUI.

In support of NIST SP 800-171, Eurofins has upgraded many features and processes to improve data security, including:

• Delivery of data to clients, including those working with the Department of Defense, via a secured data portal, myEOL. myEOL offers clients improved security over traditional, non-encrypted email messages, as well as functionality for customizable EDD creation, data trending and result comparison to state and federal regulatory limits.
• Multi-factor authentication to protect network assets and verify users.
• Increased mobile device security management to prevent unauthorized access to internal servers and data.

Implementation of these, and various other internal initiatives, will continue to ensure that Eurofins remains the nation’s leading provider of legally defensible, high quality and secure data.
