Scope of FAMI-QS Certification
The FAMI-QS Certification scheme addresses safety and quality, as well as the challenging topics of integrity (fraud), defence and regulatory compliance. The system is specifically designed for international recognition and since its inception in 2004, FAMI-QS has been endorsed by roughly 1,400 members across the world. Worldwide, the presence of certified companies spans across 47 countries.

FAMI-QS certification process
Companies certified for FAMI-QS need to undergo surveillance every year, a mandatory unannounced audit once in the cycle and recertification every 3 years.
The first step towards certification is to get the approval letter from FAMI-Qs. The organisation needs to contact FAMI-Qs (by email - fffs_apply@fami-qs.org), provide the information requested, and get the approval letter issued by FAMI-Qs.
Once the approval letter is issued, the organisation must contact Eurofins Food Assurance and proceed with the certification process as indicated below.
