Eurofins Agroscience Testing is a contract laboratory specialising in the analysis of agrochemicals, veterinary medicines and their residues in crops, animal tissues and environmental samples.

The team at Eurofins Agroscience Testing has experience with the analysis of most developmental agrochemicals and hence is in a position to offer sound advice for the analysis of the same compounds in food and environmental samples.

We have extensive experience in the conduct of clinical efficacy studies on both a small and large scale (i.e. pen and field studies). These are designed for clients to gain marketing authorisation on a global basis. As our primary Animal Health facility is based in Australia, we offer the opportunity to conduct field studies under seasonal conditions of the southern hemisphere which, for example, can accelerate the development programs of northern hemisphere clients.

Efficacy studies with the major production animal parasites are offered, as well as studies to examine the effects of mineral supplements, mycotoxins and agrochemicals. We hold GLP accreditation in Australia (NATA) and New Zealand (IANZ) to meet international regulatory agency expectations for residue depletion studies in a variety of matrices and a broad range of other animal health studies.

Our animal health research capabilities include:

  • Efficacy studies (e.g. dose determination, dose confirmation, clinical / field studies)
  • Target animal safety studies (GCP- or GLP-relevant)
  • Residue studies (food-producing species only; GLP-relevant)
  • Blood-level Pharmacokinetic and Bioequivalence studies (GCP- or GLP-relevant)
  • Palatability studies
  • Transfer studies
