Product Regulation and Practical Application of CPP’s
A regional event update
On 15th November EAS Groups Dr Owen Hoffart, Project Manager, Eurofins Agroscience Regulatory, was invited to talk at a regional government event in Freiburg, Germany. The yearly convention is organized to allow state agronomist and crop protection advisers who work with regional producers to exchange on experiences from the previous 12 months, including new or problematic pests and crop protection strategies.
Owen gave a presentation on the cost and study requirements of product development, the basics of regulatory risk assessment and an update on the renewal of glyphosate. The event was an excellent opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and ideas between the two fields of product regulation and practical application of crop protection products.
