Seeds Services portfolio expands to address market needs

Eurofins Agroscience Services have recently established a seeds processing unit that comprises a cleaning & sorting physical tuning service, a seed coating service for parental lines and early stage hybrid of field and vegetable crops.

Located in Germany, our team of specialists can process seed batches from all across Europe, with quick turn-around times and the guarantee of data integrity.

With three seed sorting lines, we can process seed batches from 50 kg up to 10 tons. The physical seed tuning process is air-driven and equipped with gravity tables and colour sorters. We value traceability above all – this is necessary to avoid cross-contamination between batches. Each line is segregated from the other, with ‘box-in-box’ transport for each single batch.

The semi-automatized ‘fill & pack’ line is suitable for seed coating of batches from 10 kg up to 10 tons, according to your formula, under GLP and/or GEP compliance as needed. Our facilities are also equipped to process smaller seed batches for field experiments with chemical and biological seed treatments processed separately.
