EAS Morocco exhibit at SIAM 2023
Our team in Morocco was pleased to exhibit at the 15th International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco (SIAM)
From 2nd to 7th May 2023, our local team joined hundreds of visitors at SIAM, a large industry event which took place close to our main field facility in Meknès.
Professional participants and industry stakeholders enjoyed updates from the team covering EAS’ main activities in the country. These include field trial research to support the development of biosolutions, pesticides, fertilizers and seeds, in close cooperation with technical and regulatory experts. It also provided an opportunity to present our turnkey agriculture projects, establishing new farms for fruit and vegetable production in the country, from prospection and feasibility study stage through to certification to Globalgap and other labels.
Founded approx. five years ago with two field stations in Meknès and Agadir, EAS Morocco works in close cooperation with European colleagues. Recently, the team enjoyed a refresher training session on GEP and EPPO European standards, including theory and practical field sessions, which was delivered by two French colleagues who are technical experts accredited by COFRAC (France accreditation body). GLP refresher training in crop residue studies was also provided.
