EAS Group Services for Human Exposure to Pesticides
Fully integrated operations and tailored study design with our experts
Meet our exposure assessment expert Michael Buckley at International Akademie Fresenius' 7th conference on Worker, Operator, Bystander and Resident Exposure and Risk Assessment, taking place on 13 and 14 December 2022 in Cologne (and online).
Don’t hesitate to get in touch to book an appointment and learn more about our unique capabilities, global network, team expertise and equipment!
Our team has years of experience in the evaluation of the risks of exposure to your agrochemical or biocide in compliance with the latest regulatory guidelines for the 4 categories - worker, operator, bystander and resident - on a wide range of crops and application methods.
Following a preliminary risk screening in order to define the exposure scenario, our exposure expert study directors fully supervise each field study through to completion, travelling to all field sites for the critical phases and organizing the logistics of test product & specimens.
Our analytical laboratories conduct method development, validation and specimen analysis on all matrices and active ingredients.
Exposure capabilities also include:
- Regulatory advice and preliminary risk screening, dose range finding, mechanistic studies
- Modelling and refinement, hazard & risk assessment, dose response, NOAEL setup and registration dossier
- Dermal penetration in vivo & in vitro, ADME studies, and (new!) in vitro comparative metabolism studies
- Field spray and dust drift study during and post application (particulate & vapour)
- Dislodgeable foliar residues (DFR), turf transferable residues (TTR) and other wash off residues
