EAS Easton & EAS Hercules Undergo EPA GLP Inspections (North America)

EAS Group received assessments from the EPA in September 2022 at both our Easton, Maryland, and Hercules, California laboratories. Both EAS Easton and EAS Hercules underwent FIFRA and TSCA EPA GLP inspections, with the EPA reporting no negative observations for either facility.

These inspections typically take place every two to four years. The EPA conducts inspections of testing facilities as part of its GLP program to monitor compliance with the regulations and to assure that studies submitted to the Agency in support of a pesticide registration or under a testing consent agreement for an industrial chemical were done with integrity, are of good quality, and valid.

Both laboratories offer unrivaled expertise and experience in providing a global clientele with GLP studies that meet global regulatory requirements for the testing of agrochemicals, industrial chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biocides and animal health products.

Established in 1972 as Wildlife International, EAS Easton is the industry leader in high-tier ecotoxicology and environmental fate, with a full suite of product chemistry. The laboratory operates out of three buildings on two campuses of nearly 130,000 square feet. EAS Hercules has served as a global center of excellence for over 30 years for the execution of challenging analytical work related to metabolism and environmental fate. Comprised of a team of more than 25 scientists, this group has over 400 years of experience among them. Both laboratories are intimately involved in the development of guidance and constantly engage in scientific exchanges in OECD, EPA, PMRA and other regulatory programs.
