EAS Finalist announced in National Potato Industry awards 2023!
We are delighted to share that EAS Agronomist Joseph Marshall is a finalist in the Best Young Achiever category for this year’s National Potato Industry Awards.
Joseph, a former placement student from agricultural college Harper-Adams, took on the day-to-day responsibility for managing the setup of applications and general co-ordination of EAS Group’s Potato Blight Platform in the UK this season.
This year, the site had over 650 plots across 17 trials – Joseph managed 12 weeks of applications and assessments, all whilst balancing a range of efficacy trials on other crops.
He was nominated for the Best Young Achiever by Meg Edmonds, Potato Blight Platform Event Co-ordinator, for an outstanding contribution at this important event. Meg comments, “He has hit the ground running and delivered a fantastic demonstration site for our clients this season.”
The 2023 National Potato Industry Awards will take place on the first night of BP2023 - November 22nd, 2023. The awards offer a great opportunity for everyone in the industry to meet up and enjoy the company of like-minded people from the potato industry.
