EAS extends biologicals testing capability in North America
EAS North America Continues Biologicals Testing Expansion with Recent Promotion
EAS Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Sarah McCoy to Biologicals Team Lead at EAS Easton, effective on April 23, 2023.
In this recently created role, Sarah will lead the Biologicals team to evaluate projects, design protocols, and provide study coordination and communication as well as future planning and strategic direction. In addition, EAS Easton is in the process of hiring an additional Biologist and Technicians to support the growing testing services.
Sarah has a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Delaware and a background in academic research settings identifying biomarkers for genetic disease progression. She has been at Eurofins for five years, having started in a data quality position for the Aquatics Department and worked in the molecular biology lab on support analyses for endocrine disruptor studies. She later transitioned into the role of Program Coordinator for the Aquatics Department, and has served as Study Director, which allowed her to gain experience in running studies and communicating with sponsors. Sarah shared, “I am excited for the most recent transition into the role of Biologics Team Lead in support of expanding our testing capabilities in PCR, in-vitro assays and microbiology.”
EAS Easton has been testing microbial pest control products under the OECD 885 guidelines for many years, and the legacy Wildlife International laboratory has experience testing biochemicals, peptides and RNA products. As experts in the field, EAS draws from the expertise of staff across multiple departments, including the industry leading ecotoxicology lab, to establish new standards of testing for biological products.
EAS Easton is continuing to increase testing capabilities by offering GLP CoAs for microbials and 5-Batch Analysis of biologicals as well as method development, method validation and sample analysis in support of toxicity studies.
