Eurofins Agroscience Services (EAS), part of the Eurofins Scientific (EUFI.PA) network of companies, announces the successful acquisition of the research division of Cawood Scientific.

The division is a Contract Research Organisation (CRO) formed in 2022 by Cawood Scientific, which acquired Innovative Environmental Services (IES), Mambo-Tox and i2L Research and integrated them into a single group.

European operations comprise e-fate and metabolism, ecotoxicology, residue analysis, field studies and household product efficacy services. This portfolio strategically complements Eurofins Agroscience Services' European footprint, adding unique capabilities and enabling a joint approach to digitalisation.

With this acquisition, Eurofins Agroscience Services marks a strategic milestone towards its vision of being a world leading provider of contract research services to the agrochemical and wider chemical industry.

From a Eurofins Agroscience Services perspective, the acquisition underscores the company’s long-term commitment to supporting clients’ R&D and regulatory needs.
