EAS Announces New Director of Chemistry at Easton Laboratory

Kathy Martin Promoted to Director of Chemistry at EAS Easton (North America) to Support Analytical Chemistry Department

Eurofins Agroscience Services (EAS) is pleased to announce that Kathy Martin has been promoted to Director of Chemistry at the EAS Easton, Maryland, laboratory in North America, effective immediately, to support the continued growth and development in our Analytical Chemistry Department.

With an M.S. in Applied Chemistry from Delaware State University and more than 35 years’ experience in analytical chemistry, Kathy has served in a variety of leadership roles within EAS Group that have prepared her for her new role. Her previous experience as Study Director on analytical and biology-related projects, along with her recent position as Associate Director of Chemistry, where she utilized her skills to expand service offerings and build an industry-leading department, have made her an instrumental leader during her 32-year tenure at our Easton location.

As Director of Chemistry, Kathy Martin will oversee a team of 27 professionals, including study directors, chemists, principal analysts, technical writers, and QC specialists to support the EAS Easton laboratory. With a commitment to conducting excellent chemistry, she will continue to guide the growth in the analytical chemistry department to support evolving regulatory testing guidelines.
