• Biological soil fertility: The presence of living organisms in the soil, such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa, nematodes, worms, etc.
• Chemical soil fertility: The availability of nutrients for plants.
• Physical soil fertility: The structural characteristics of the soil, such as grain size, moisture retention capacity, potential for erosion, compaction, draining and leaching of nutrients.
