P‑Al is the result of determining the (semi) soil supply of phosphate using ammonium lactate (Al) at a low pH.

P‑Al indicates how much phosphate can be replenished from the soil. The laboratory result is given in mg P₂O₅/100 g. The unit of measurement in field recommendations is often kg P/ha.
