At Eurofins, embedding corporate sustainability principles in our business strategy and the way we operate is an essential component in both creating long-term value and achieving our mission of contributing to a healthier and safer world.

Our policies incorporate a strong focus on the ethical, social and environmental aspects of doing business, with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in mind.

As a group of companies that work to safeguard the environment through many of our testing activities, considering our impact on the environment is a priority as is a commitment to sustainable operations. In 2020, we announced the ambitious goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2025, through a combination of CO2 emission reduction projects and carbon offsetting including the purchase of carbon credits.

Responsible business practice is an absolute requirement of a global business and measures such as our  Code of Ethics and Values,  whistleblowing, Sustainable Procurement Programme procedures and Governance Committees are in place to ensure this. Responsible business practice extends also to Eurofins staff, and we have programmes in place to ensure they are supported to reach their full potential through training, global career opportunities and diversity initiatives.

With operations in 62 countries and ca. 62,000 employees, our scale and global footprint allows us to make a real social impact. We have also established the Eurofins Foundation to support global initiatives whose goals align with our own, of safeguarding health and the environment. On the ground, our employees have also set up local social and environmental initiatives to give back to their own communities. As a global leader in analytical testing, our scientists are at the forefront of scientific research and development and, on countless occasions, our companies have been involved in collaborations to significantly advance science and use it to respond to some of society’s most pressing issues.
